ABSC 3410 Applied Building Science
A study of the integration of factors that cause a building to be a working system,
including; engineering, architecture, materials, climate and environmental factors.
The purpose of building science is to provide predictive capability to optimize the
performance and sustainability of a building, understand or prevent building failures,
and guide the design and use of new materials, techniques, and technologies. Lab required.
Prerequisites: MATH 1342 and CNBT 2344. 4 credit hours.
