You do not have to be a registered nurse (RN) to make a difference in patients’ lives. Collin College’s Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program will prepare you to work with patients, fulfilling many of their health care needs and giving you a strong foundation to build a satisfying career. You’ll have daily contact with patients, monitor vital signs, document patient behavior and perform other duties in cooperation with other medical team members. A CNA degree or certificate from Collin College lays the groundwork for a rewarding career in nursing and is a helpful foundation if you plan to apply for nursing school.
