Collin College offers hundreds of non-credit online career and professional development courses through our partnership with ed2go, Advanced Career Training programs, ProTrain, and 360Training

ed2go

ed2go offers short fundamental courses in a six-week format. These online courses are accessible 24/7 with a lesson released on Wednesday and Friday each week. A final exam will be released at the end of the course.  Please visit the College's ed2go website to browse and register.

Advanced Career Training Certificate Programs

Collin College, in partnership with the ed2go Career Training Center, offers comprehensive, self paced online Career Training programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional-level positions for many in-demand occupations.  Instructors are actively involved in the student's online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns and encouraging and motivating students to succeed. Each course comes with a dedicated student advisor to support you throughout your learning journey.

Career Training Course Categories

ProTrain

CE partners with ProTrain in delivering many certificate and certification courses aimed at high-demand portable careers.  The ProTrain courses provide online experiences that include videos, slides, and wiki chats that help students interact with their learning materials.  Many of the courses include books or reference materials that are shipped to the student's home.

ProTrain's "Education-2-Employment" focus brings Collin College and its students training programs and certifications that meet national, regional, and local requirements that lead to employment and higher producing jobs.  ProTrain's subject matter experts have worked in the field and understand what trained skills are needed to perform and be promoted in the workplace today.  Financial Aid is not available to pay for these courses.

ProTrain Course Categories

360Training

360Training provides courses that are one (1) hour up to 200 hours in length.  This the the only partner providing online Food and Beverage programs accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.  Financial Aid is not available to pay for these courses.
