Course Description
Classical Oil Painting I -
Learn the basics in oil media and techniques in the classical manner. You will be introduced step by step through different stages of the art creation process, starting with composition and ending with theunique technique of Rembrandt's style of transparent oil glazing.

Course Objectives
Students taking Classical Oil Painting I will develop the basic skills of oil painting, learn and master techniques particular to classical painting.

Emphasis will be on painting in a realistic manner based on a visual study of elements found in still life.
