Course Description
This class will cover the wiring knowledge and skills required for wiring in commercial locations. Class will cover conduit and flexible cable installation and use, motors and motor controls, transformers, hazardous locations, and wire selection. Three phase power will be covered as well as selection of proper electrical components.

  1. Discover proper materials for commercial environments
  2. Recognize hazardous environments
  3. Learn the requirements for motor and transformer protection
  4. Learn three phase power use and wiring
