Object-Oriented Analysis and Design is intended as a first
course in object-oriented methodology, focusing on the difference between
older process-oriented methods and object methodology. While this is not a
programming course, the emphasis is on understanding the techniques and
methods of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming that
contributes to a safer, more reliable system. Specific object-oriented
languages will be referenced only for the purpose of relating
object-oriented constructs within the languages. This is a lecture class.
What you will learn ...
Distinguish the differences between process-oriented and
object-oriented methodology, demonstrate the techniques and methods for
creating with object-oriented analysis, design and programming, review OO
constructs within various object oriented languages.
