Explore the basic principles of developing silhouette illustrations to fashion industry standards. Emphasis on heavy sketching practice, basic principles of proportion of the fashion figure and an introduction to color.

CYNTHIA PADILLA BA Art California State University, Los Angeles, graduate studies UCLA. Cynthia Padilla instructs all-media painting and drawing to prestigious universities, major museums, fine craft centers and art and nature societies internationally. Padilla enjoyed a 30+ year career in the fashion, applied arts and decorative design industries, sketching in museums and galleries, as well as plein air and street scenes across Europe and the Americas. Called to curate and juror exhibitions, for research and reviews, lectures and demos, and a travel leader on art tours and retreats worldwide. Padilla�s warm and encouraging style guides enthusiasts of all levels to sketch and paint with confidence.
