The Collin Higher Education Center (CHEC)

Provides a variety of opportunities for prospective students to learn about degree programs. Students can visit with a university representative at the CHEC during office hours (evenings as well). Please contact the appropriate universities for more information.

Collin College Campus Visits

CHEC Student Services Center staff regularly visit Collin College campuses to provide information on programs, answer questions, and assist students preparing to transfer to the CHEC.

Partner Representatives

Many representatives from the partner universities maintain office hours and/or regularly visit the CHEC.  Please contact the appropriate university for additional information.

Student Services Center (SSC)

The SSC is a one-stop location for students to begin academic planning or find assistance in pursuing a current degree plan.  To accommodate the largely internet-based services, the CHEC has multiple computers available for students to access university websites as well as wireless connectivity throughout the CHEC. Many of the university student services such as admission, registration, bursar, and bookstore will be provided for students by the appropriate university website.
