To log in to and use CougarWeb, you must supply a valid username and password and be using a recent version of a standard Internet browser. If you are having trouble logging in to the system, use the links below to determine possible solutions.


As of Jan 13, 2020, credit student passwords have been updated to Collin###### (where ###### is the last six digits of their CWID and the C is uppercase.)

Username and Password Details

For New Students:
New students are issued a username and password for CougarWeb as well as a campus wide identification number (CWID) at the completion of admission.

If you do not have your username and password, take a picture ID to the Admissions and Records Office at a campus near you or e-mail admissions@collin.edu. Requests should be generated from the email address on the student's Collin College application or from the email address on file with Collin's Admissions and Records office. The request should also include the student's full legal name and date of birth.

    This will change your password for CougarWeb, Outlook/Office365, the campus workstations and other services. It will NOT change your password for Banner, TimeClock, Argos, Ad Astra, or BDMS, etc.
