About the Cloud Computing Program

Female student

"Cloud” is one of the top IT skills in demand today. The Cloud Computing program offers students an Associates degree (two-year, 60 credit hours) and two Level 1 certificates. The program is designed to not only deliver fundamental concepts, but also real-world training through hands-on labs and projects. As students progress through the coursework, they are provided the necessary resources and training to earn recognized industry certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and more.

Cloud Computing is a Workforce program, and students will be able to hit the ground running when they graduate. The two-year degree program at Collin College prepares students for entry-level technical jobs such as Cloud Support Technician, Cloud Administrator, or Cloud Architect.

Why choose Cloud Computing as a career?

The rate at which organizations are migrating to cloud computing on a global level is far larger than the rate at which professionals enter the field to execute cloud migration and maintenance. Businesses recognize how cloud computing improves the efficiency and adaptability of IT resources, making it a great career opportunity for young professionals. The Collin College Cloud Computing program will help you become a seasoned cloud computing specialist by preparing you for widely recognized cloud certifications.
