TEDxPlano, April 16

TEDxPlano 2015 | Beyond Collin College Foundation and The Pride are proud to be a sponsor of this year's TEDx Plano: "Beyond." During TEDx Plano, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The Pride will provide light snacks during the mid-event break as well as a hands-on activity in the lobby that embraces the "beyond" theme and is provided by Collin's health sciences division.

TEDx Plano will be held on Thursday, April 16 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Courtyard Theater in Plano. Registration is $50 and tickets can be purchased at www.tedxplano.org. Seating is limited to the first 100 people.

Kendra Scott Gives Back, April 24


Just in time for Mother's Day! The Pride, Collin College's official association for alumni and friends, will partner again with Texas jewelry designer Kendra Scott for "Kendra Gives Back," Friday April 24 from 
6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Kendra Scott Boutique at the Shops at Legacy in Plano (click here for directions).

For two hours, 20 percent of all sales will go directly toward student scholarships provided by the Collin College Foundaiton. Shoppers can also enjoy "bubbles and bites" while they shop for a cause.

Last year, the Foundation raised $600 for scholarships through this event. Help us raise even more this year!

Dinner at the Red Room, April 29

Collin College Foundation with the Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Education at Collin College will host Dinner at the Red Room on Wednesday, April 29 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Enjoy a five-star, five-course meal in the Red Room all designed, managed and served by Collin College hospitality and culinary students with 100 percent of ticket sales benefitting student scholarships.

Tickets are $100 each and space is limited. For questions or to purchase tickets, contact Kim Davis at kadavis@collin.edu  or 972-599-3147. Tickets may also be purchased online through the Foundation website.
RoughRiders, May 29


The Pride will host Collin Alumni Night at the Frisco RoughRiders on 
Friday, May 29. Game time is 7:05 p.m., and all ticket holders can stay after the game to watch the RoughRider's famous Friday night fireworks!

Tickets are $25 each and include premium seating, all-you-can-eat food from the Riders "Grab and Go" and a limited edition RoughRiders souvenir for each guest, and $5 from each ticket sale will benefit student scholarships provided by the Collin College Foundation.
