High-Technology Transfer Scholarships

NOTICE: The HI-TECC Transfer Scholarship is for students transferring from Collin College to UT Dallas and majoring in a STEM field of study. Please check back after Jan. 15, 2018, for more information on the Hi-TECC application process.

What is the Hi-TECC Scholarship? 


Endowed by Texas Instruments, this initiative provides scholarships to Collin College students who have come through the Plano ISD school system and intend on transferring to UT Dallas to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics.

As part of this initiative, the High-Technology Transfer Scholarship to UTD is awarded to five students from Collin who will continue their studies at UTD and major in a STEM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) area.

Application Requirements 


  • Student must major in a STEM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) area
  • Student is eligible to apply for admission at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)
  • Minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • One letter of recommendation from a Collin College faculty
  • A copy of your Collin College transcript for the selection committee's review


How to Apply

*Must answer Question #3 (Desired Field of Study) with "HiTECC"
