If you are interested in transferring to Collin College, follow the steps outlined
Step 1: Complete application for admission. If you have never attended Collin College or if you have not attended for two long semesters (16 weeks) or more, readmission is necessary. Provide proof of Texas residency. Application and class schedules are available online.
Step 2: Submit proof of meningitis vaccination (if needed).
Step 3: Submit an official transcript from all colleges / universities attended. Students who do not have an official transcript including final grades for the current semester will be required to submit a Conditional Admissions Contract before being able to register.

Step 4: Submit Texas Success Initiative (TSI) documentation Documentation refers to official college transcript including scores, exemption
or completion. In cases where the college transcript does not show exemption, an official
high school transcript with SAT, ACT or TAKS test scores is required. Note: TSI
documentation (scores or exemption) is required for registration purposes; it is not
an admission requirement.

Step 6: Advising Students should meet with an academic advisor to discuss holds, options for class
registration and prove pre-requisites in the areas of Reading, Writing and Math before
Student must submit a grade report or unofficial transcript in order to set up prerequisites before registration. During on-site registration an advisor's signature on the enrollment form is required.
Step 7: Register through CougarWeb.
Current students will sign on using their current CougarWeb username (which is the first part of their Cougar email address, i.e. jsmith138). The password is the last six digits of the Campus Wide ID (CWID).
If you do not have your username and password, you may email email@example.com. Requests should include the student's full legal name and date of birth. Request must be made from personal email address on file with Collin.
New students to Collin will automatically get an email from the Admissions and Records Office that provides the following information:
Campus Wide ID (CWID)
The Admissions Office is responsible for protecting the student's records. Therefore, the Admissions Office will not issue CWIDs or CougarWeb usernames by telephone or fax.
