Connect with YOUR Future!

Collin College is closed until Monday May 4.  Please visit the Collin College COVID-19 FAQ Page for more information.

The withdrawal deadline has been extended until April 17.

Students can send an email to AcademicAdvising@collin.edu.  Every attempt will be made to answer emails as quickly as possible in the order they were received.  Expect a two - three day response time.

There is no online advising.

Informational links below are accurate.  Links to staff and / or offices, while operable will not connect to staff until April 6.

Whether you are just starting your college experience or have completed multiple semesters, be sure to visit with an academic advisor.  Your advisor can help connect you to your future. Together, we can develop a plan for transferring to a four‐year college/university, completing your degree or earning a technical certification.

What to Expect?

Not sure what to expect or bring when meeting with an advisor? No problem, review our advising checklist before you come in and speak with your advisor. Remember that during peak registration periods (January, July and August) the office will open at 8 am on Fridays.  Collin College offers a variety of Associate Degrees and Certificates as well as our new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity (BAT). Check out the programs and courses we offer. Come in and meet with an Academic Advisor to review your degree plan.
