Finding and Applying for Scholarships

Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, Plano

Looking for scholarships can be overwhelming and confusing, and some national scholarships are very

competitive. However, scholarships are out there and many of them are more accessible than you may think.

Join us for an informative look at how you can find scholarships, regardless of income or major, and learn

how to improve your chances of receiving a scholarship.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Target Audience: Parents and Students Grades 9-12

Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, Frisco

How do I apply? What is a FAFSA? Get help in sorting out the facts from the myths. This workshop

will introduce you to financial aid concepts such as the different types of aid, the application process and more.

The Parent Workshop

6:00-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017

Target Audience: Parents of Students Grades 9-12

Central Park Campus Conference Center, McKinney

This popular workshop will provide parents with the essentials of planning and preparing for your student's

college experience. Speakers will address practical parenting concerns, strategies for a successful college

admissions process, and financial aid resources and terminology. Join us for an entertaining and informative evening.

Dinner will be provided from 6:00-6:30 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Please note that this workshop is for parents only.

 

Registration for this event will open January 10th and close January 24th unless capacity is reached sooner.
