New Student Orientation Registration

Orientation gets you prepared to be successful at Collin College!

As a Freshman or a First Time In College student, attending orientation is one of the steps you need to complete before you register for courses.  There is no charge for students to complete Orientation.

Freshman or a First Time In College students are required to complete either the on campus or online Orientation prior to registering for courses.  Which one of the two is best for you?

ON CAMPUS ORIENTATION
  • Advance registration is required to attend.  Orientation is not a come-and-go event.  Students who are late to Orientation will not receive credit for the Orientation and will have to register for a different Orientation session. Walk-ins to Orientation are accepted as time and space allows.
  • Time is allotted at the end of on campus Orientations for family and guest questions and discussion.  Parents and guests attend at no charge.  (Children are not able to attend orientation sessions.)
  • At the end of Orientation students have the opportunity to tour campus and/or participate in a group advising session.
