We owe it to the students of Collin County Community College District to provide them not only with opportunities to acquire knowledge but also for opportunities to use this knowledge to influence the democratic process and to benefit our society. We chose to invite Paul Loeb to our college because he speaks to the ideals of social activism, citizen responsibility and hope," states Regina Hughes, coordinator of service learning.
