CCCCD Students Exhibit Artwork

NOV. 14, 2001-Collin County Community College District (CCCCD) will exhibit "Creative Components," an annual show that showcases the diversity and talent of CCCCD students' works Nov. 20 - Dec. 14 in THE ARTS gallery, room A175 at the college's Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. in Plano.

Free and open to the public, the exhibit features students' artwork in design, drawing, painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, applied graphic design technology and photography.

According to Vicki Mayhan, CCCCD director of galleries, more than 200 students will exhibit their artwork, and many of the pieces are for sale. "This is a great opportunity for students who have never shown their work in a collective show," she said.

THE ARTS gallery hours are from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Thursday; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday. For more information about THE ARTS gallery, call 972.881.5873 or Vicki Mayhan, director of galleries, at 972.881.5145.
