CCCCD Architecture Program Expands

APRIL 24, 2002 - The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board recently approved an expansion of the commercial interior design program at CCCCD. At present, only four institutions in North Texas offer credit degrees in the state-licensed professions of interior design and architecture. CCCCD becomes one of the few two-year colleges in the state to offer this level of specialized training.

CCCCD becomes one of the few two-year colleges in the state to offer this level of specialized training.

"I am very excited about this program and grateful to the engineering faculty who made it all possible," said Ann Beheler, executive director/dean of the Engineering Technology Division. "This reorganization should make it easier for our students to transfer their work to four-year programs. Ultimately, they will get into the workforce faster."
