CCCCD Board Trustee Named To Plano Economic Development Board

December 17, 2002 - Collin County Community College District Board of Trustee member Cindy Bauge was named as a Citizen-at-Larger to the Plano Economic Development Board.

"I am looking forward to representing the community on this board. I have been working on the tax abatement committee, and I am excited to be able to further encourage business development in Plano through my new role on the Economic Development Board," said Bauge.

The Plano Economic Development Board strives to strengthen and diversify the local economy through business growth and relocation to the Plano area.

"We are very pleased to have Cindy Bauge join the Plano Economic Development Board (PEDB) as a Citizen-at-Large. Her business experience, talent and acumen will help provide guidance as the Board tackles our current program of work. Ms. Bauge's position as a CCCCD trustee will also provide an additional link to the many business resources available through the CCCCD," said Sally Bane, PEDB executive director.

Collin County Community College District serves more than 37,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, the CCCCD is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development.
