CCCCD Continuing Education Offers Online Classes

December 17, 2002 - This spring, Collin County Community College District's Continuing Education Department, in conjunction with its Internet training partner Education to Go, is for the very first time offering a number of classes online. The nearly 30 new classes being offered cover a variety of general subject areas--computer applications, writing and personal enrichment. The duration of each class varies according to subject, but most run for approximately six weeks. The classes may be "attended" from any personal computer with Internet access, saving student's time and money in travel.

The new on-line classes being offered at CCCCD include:

Computer Applications: Advanced Web Pages, Flash MX for the Absolute Beginner, Creating Documents for Palm OS Handhelds, Designing Effective Websites, Intermediate PowerPoint 200,2 Introduction FrontPage 2002, Introduction to Adobe Premiere 6, Introduction to Flash MX, Introduction to Peachtree First Accounting, Introduction to Photoshop 7, Introduction to XML, Photoshop 7 for the Absolute Beginner and Web Programming with ColdFusion.

Writing: Songwriting Success, Your Screenwriting Career, The Keys to Effective Editing and Effective Business Writing.

Personal Enrichment: 12 Steps to a Successful Job Search, Becoming a Grant Writing Consultant, Creating a Successful Business Plan, Certificate in Gerontology, Fast Track Fund Raising, Grammar Refresher, Inferential Statistics, Keys to Effective Communication, Managing Technology, Marketing Tools for Actors and Medical Terminology.
