Talent Roster of Outstanding Transfer Students From Community Colleges Recognizes Local Students

December 17 , 2002 - Seventy-four Collin County Community College District students have been recognized in the Talent Roster of Outstanding Transfer Students from Community Colleges.

The College Board's Talent Roster program provides national recognition to exceptionally talented community college transfer students. Students are nominated by their community college based on the student's GPA, which must be 3.0 or above, and have the intent to pursue a baccalaureate degree.

More than 6,400 community college students were recognized as Talent Roster recipients for the 2002-2003 program year. The names of these students are listed in a publication of outstanding community college students, which has been released to colleges and universities to encourage them to seek out these talented students as potential candidates for admission.
