This industry recognized standard is for professional developers who build Internet applications using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and XML Web services. The first core course in this series of classes, "Programming ADO.NET," begins Jan. 4 at CCCCD's Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.

Other classes scheduled throughout the semester include: "Developing MS ASP.NET Web Applications Using Visual Studio.NET," "Programming with Microsoft Visual Basic.NET," "Programming with C#," "Developing and Deploying MS BizTalk Server 2000 Solutions," and "Administering a MS SQL Server 2000 Database."

Last year, CCCCD partnered with Microsoft to begin offering advanced technology training through the Microsoft IT Academy Program.
