CCCCD High Tech Information Session Open To The Public

April 10, 2003 - The Collin County Community College District Engineering Technology Division will hold an information session to help answer questions about careers in high-tech fields 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 in Heritage Hall, room H209 at the Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.

CCCCD professors will be available to discuss information technology, networking, telecommunication, computer-aided drafting and design, computer maintenance, interior and architectural design, engineering/electronics fields, Microsoft Windows 2003 curriculum and engineering transfers to universities.

Collin County Community College District serves more than 38,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, the CCCCD is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development. The college is one of only nine instructor Cisco Academy Training Centers in the world. This center and the engineering technology program are based at the Preston Ridge Campus in Frisco.
