Mars Gazing: CCCCD To Hold Public Mars Observing Session On Aug. 30

August 29, 2003 - On the evening of Saturday, August 30, 2003 the College will hold a public Mars Observing Session featuring a 16" reflector telescope at the Spring Creek Campus. The session will begin after 9 p.m. in the parking lot south of the main building (near the large satellite dish). Weather permitting; the view of Mars should continue to improve between 9 p.m. and midnight. Faculty members from the College's Math and Natural Science Division will also point out constellations and other night sky objects. Come see Mars at its best. Other telescopes and binoculars are welcome.
