CCCCD Hosts Speaker Katie Koestner

October 23, 2003 - Collin County Community College District's Counseling Services presents speaker Katie Koestner as she delivers her personal experience titled "No 'Yes'," at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the conference center at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Koestner brings her own story about being a victim of sexual assault by a fellow college student to becoming a survivor. Since her experience, she has been speaking out against the crime of silence. Koestner offers a three-fold message of successful sexual communication, responsibility in the use of drugs and alcohol, and respect for self and others.
