The Arts Gallery Presents "Sculptural Syncretism," An Ongoing Outdoor Sculpture Show

Nov. 14, 2003 - Collin County Community College District's THE ARTS gallery will feature "Sculptural Syncretism" now through Dec. 5, outside the Visual Arts Wing (A wing) of the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

This exhibit features sculptural works of art from professional and student artists. The rotating exhibit currently features the work of Luke Sides, sculpture professor at CCCCD, Mike Cunningham, sculpture professor at the University of North Texas, advanced CCCCD students Lawrence Billings, Marcelo Sanjines, and Morris Yanger, and a collaborative ceramic "totem" by students in Mark Epstein's Ceramics I and II classes at CCCCD. Other pieces on loan from artists in the area frequent the natural setting, keeping the exhibit an eclectic mix of ever-changing art.
