CCCCD Packages Microsoft Classes

November 24, 2003 - This spring, Collin County Community College is offering an MCSA Server 2003 Day Package that prepares students for the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification. This class will be held from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, beginning Jan. 5, 2004 and ending on March 17, 2004. The class will take place at CCCCD's Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd., in Plano.

The new MCSA certificate requires three core exams and one elective. This industry-leading certification offers professionals the skills to successfully implement, manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows-based operating environments, including the Windows .NET Server. The MCSA Server 2003 Day Package will cover several classes, starting with "Course 2274: Managing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment." The package combines all Microsoft classes--2274, 2275, 2276, 2277, 2285 and 2159--needed to prepare for the MCSA exams.

This certification leads directly into the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) set of classes. The MCSE Server 2003 Day Package of classes will begin March 22 at CCCCD, starting with such courses as "2278: Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure."
