CCCCD Offers Supply Chain Management Class

November 24, 2003 - In an effort to broaden business opportunities, CCCCD Continuing Education has created a new class called "Supply Chain Management." The class will be offered during the spring 2004 semester, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 16 and ending Feb. 25. The class meets at CCCCD's Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd., in Plano. Another section begins on March 27.

This class is targeted at those who are responsible for keeping store shelves stocked and replacement parts on-hand. Students will learn the details of supply chain inventory management. Topics will include transportation systems, distribution networks, databases and communication systems. This class requires 12 hours of coursework.

Collin County Community College District serves nearly 40,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, the CCCCD is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and workforce development.
