CCCCD E-Schedule Recognized By Peers

May 28, 2004 - Collin County Community College District's (CCCCD's) e-schedule, a downloadable catalog and schedule search system, won a Gold Award for Best Execution.

Irving-based MultiView, Inc., developer of the system, polled users from across the country to determine winners.

The e-schedule, available on the college's website (ccccd.edu), allows current and prospective students to download class schedules onto their desktops and to perform keyword searches on course titles, descriptions, locations, instructors, and more.

The e-schedule has allowed CCCCD to eliminate the printing and mailing of paper schedules, resulting in savings both to the district and to taxpayers. It is all part of the district's goal to keep education affordable and accessible.

Collin County Community College District serves close to 40,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. In addition, CCCCD is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and workforce development.
