CCCCD Hosts Dual Admission College Representatives

CCCCD HOSTS DUAL ADMISSION COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES

Oct. 11, 2004 –This October, Collin County Community College District will host three college and university representatives, offering students dual admissions and transfer opportunities.

The college’s dual admission agreements allow qualified CCCCD students the opportunity to complete freshman and sophomore year requirements at the community college and have automatic admission to complete a bachelor’s degree at the selected dual admission university.

CCCCD broke ground in 2000 when it signed the first dual admission agreement in Texas with the University of North Texas. The University of Texas at Dallas, Southern Methodist University, Texas Woman's University and Texas A&M University-Commerce followed.

Texas A&M University-Commerce

Representatives from Texas A&M University-Commerce will be available from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14 at the information center at the college’s Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive, in McKinney.

The University of North Texas

Representatives from The University of North Texas will be available from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the information center at the college’s Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive, in McKinney.

University of Texas at Dallas

Representatives from the University of Texas at Dallas will be available from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7 in the atrium at the college’s Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. in Plano; 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the information center at the college’s Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive, in McKinney; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 in the Founders Hall atrium at the college’s Preston Ridge Campus, 9800 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.
