Paralympian to Visit CCCCD Oct. 19


Oct. 11, 2004 - Randy Snow, the first paralympian inducted to U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, will visit Collin County Community College District (CCCCD) at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19 in the conference center, room AA135, at Spring Creek Campus, 2800 East Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Snow was 16 years old when a 1,000 pound bale of hay crushed his spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down, yet he went on to compete in three Paralympic Games in three different sports, winning medals in each.
