CCCCD GROUPS PRESENT “AN EVENING OF SONG”

November 23, 2004 – The Collin County Chorale and Chamber Singers will lend their voices for “An Evening of Song.”

The two groups will perform a number of standards from the Renaissance, to contemporary chorale pieces and American folk arrangements at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, in the John Anthony Theatre on the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

The event is free and open to the public. Donations for scholarships, however, will be accepted.

The eclectic mixture of song will be highlighted when the two groups join voices for a rendition of “Chorale Fantasy” by Ludwig van Beethoven, which will feature a number soloists and pianist Natalya Pitts.

For more information, contact CCCCD Director of Chorale Activities Kathy Morgan at 972.881.5653.
