College Seeks Business Partners for Training

COLLEGE SEEKS BUSINESS PARTNERS FOR TRAINING

March 1, 2005–Collin County Community College District (Collin) is seeking a few good companies.

Specifically, the college is looking for businesses that would qualify as candidates for free training through a state grant project.

The college has been successful in obtaining state and local funds to provide customized training programs for local employees and hopes to continue that trend with the current projrect. Since September 2004, the college has obtained more than $1 million to train employees of 10 companies including Sanden International USA in Wylie;  Applied Concepts Inc., MetaSolv Software and Informatics Ltd. in Plano; and EADS Telecom in Frisco.
