April 18, 2005 - Collin County Community College (Collin) will hold its annual graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 13. Maestro Hector Guzman, conductor and musical director for the Plano Symphony Orchestra, will give this year’s commencement address.

Maestro Guzman has led the Plano Symphony Orchestra as music director since its inception in 1983. From humble beginnings in Fresnillo, Mexico, Guzman became an internationally acclaimed organist and conductor. He conducts two other Texas symphonies--Irving and San Angelo--and appears regularly as a guest conductor in Europe, Japan and Mexico.
