Continuing Education Serves Up Training Series

CONTINUING EDUCATION SERVES UP TRAINING SERIES

April 26, 2005 – Collin County Community College District (Collin) Continuing Education is offering a new series for future and current trainers, facilitators, teachers and coaches.

The Training and Development Certificate Series is designed to explore the principles and practices of adult learning styles, curriculum development and design, leadership skills, marketing development, creative and effective presentation techniques and cultural diversity to trainers, speakers, teachers, executives and those interested in a business career.

The series includes six courses, which can be taken individually, too. The first course begins in June, and the last course ends in late August. All courses will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Collin Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.

The courses will cover various subjects including overcoming fears, organizing a topic for presentation, adult learning styles, designing and developing a training program, identifying current events and attitudes and behaviors.
