Gallery Schedules Photography Exhibit

Collin associate professor Charlie Freeman will be one of three photographers showcasing his photography grids at Photography3: Freeman, Glosson, Robinson at THE ARTS gallery.

September 2, 2005 – The newest exhibition at THE ARTS gallery focuses on photography.

The Collin County Community College District (Collin) gallery will present Photography3: Freeman, Glosson, Robinson Thursday, Sept. 15-Friday, Oct. 7.

The three showcased photographers are Collin photography professor David Glosson, associate faculty Charlie Freeman and Texas A&M University-Commerce photography student Laura Robinson. All three are currently vying for their master’s degree in photography from A&M-Commerce.

Glosson and Freeman will showcase digital prints. Glosson’s work will be landscape photographs from Big Ben National Park. Freeman will present grids of nine photos of the same person with different expressions on their faces. Robinson’s work is film photography and will be of “man-made animal roadside attractions.”

Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
