Collin Offers New Certificate in Interior and Architectural Design
Sept. 23, 2005 -- Collin County Community College District (Collin) is now offering a new marketable skills achievement award in interior and architectural design that can be completed in just 12 credit hours.
The marketable skills award in interior and architectural design provides skills for students who want to acquire a basic understanding of interior design in office settings. Before enrolling, approval of department is required.
Classes include residential drafting, basic elements of design, color theory and commercial design.
Students who complete the award will be prepared to work as assistants in interior design or architectural firms, in space planning or facility management departments or in retail office furniture stores.
