Auteur Film Series Showcases "Eat, Drink, Man, Woman"
March 8, 2006 - The Auteur Film Series will screen Ang Lee's "Eat Drink Man Woman" Wednesday, March 22.
The Collin County Community College District Auteur Film Series, "Food for Thought," is a monthly film installment featuring movies in which food is a main theme.
The film begins at 7 p.m. at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, and the event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and seating is limited.
"Eat Drink Man Woman" chronicles an aging widowed chef, Mr. Chu, who is losing his three daughters to the world. The film is not rated.
Following the movie, a panel discussion led by several Collin faculty and staff will be held in order to discuss the film and its themes.
