New Classes Focus On Mexican-American Studies
August 21, 2006 - New classes at Collin County Community College District (Collin) are filling up as the semester starts Monday, Aug. 28.
The new line of classes focus on Mexican-American studies ranging from English, history, fine arts and humanities.
The new classes are:
- Introduction to Mexican-American Studies
- Mexican-American Literature
- Mexican-American History I
- Mexican-American Fine Arts Appreciation
These classes, along with all other fall offerings, can be found on Collin's e-schedule, which can be downloaded from www.collin.edu. The e-schedule includes a list of class times, days, professors and important class notes.
Students can register online via Webline at the college website or by calling 469.452.2222 for Dallas and Collin county residents, or 469.757.2222 for Rockwall County residents. All other students can call toll free at 1.877.COLLIN1. Early registration is available online or by phone from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
The college accepts VISA, MasterCard or Discover credit cards over the phone or online. Personal checks are accepted in person or over the web using the college's secure Webcheck program.
