Collin Hosts Scholarship Essay Writing Workshop

November 2, 2006 - Collin County Community College District (Collin) gives future college students the tools to succeed no matter where they plan to attend.

Through Destination College©, a Scholarship Essay Writing Workshop will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, in the Preston Ridge Campus Event Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco. The event is free and open to the public.

Develop the skills and learn the tips toward penning that scholarship essay that could reap big benefits when it comes to paying for tuition, fees and books at any college or university.

Destination College© is an initiative at Collin designed to provide future college students and their parents with adequate and pertinent information about higher education. It is a collaboration between Collin, area school districts, business and service providers to increase college readiness and educational opportunities.
