Collin Hosts Day/Night College Fair
January 9, 2007 - Collin County Community College District (Collin) will host the annual Collin Day/Night Transfer Fair from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the college's Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
Student, counselors and parents from Collin and local high schools will have the opportunity to meet with approximately 60 recruiters from in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities. The event is coordinated by the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers.
Attendees will receive information about admission requirements, academic programs, course transferability, financial aid, housing, student life and more.
"This is a great opportunity for students and parents to get information about a lot of colleges all at one time. It is a good way to start planning for a college career by visiting as many schools as possible when you have the opportunity," said Stephanie Hanson, Collin's coordinator of transfer programs.
