Sculpture Students Featured At Plano Gallery

February 1, 2007- Eleven Collin County Community College District (Collin) art students will know the exhilaration of exhibition starting Monday, Feb. 5.

"Cool Hands Hot Art" showcases the sculpture students all from professor Luke Sides' portfolio class. The works of bronze, steel, wood, silver, copper and clay will be on display through Saturday, Feb. 24, at the 14th Street Gallery, 1412 14th St. in Plano.

The participating students are: Mirtha Aertker, Colette Bureau, Kathleen Chambers, Brandon Christeson, Perry Cox, Joan Dumke, Carolyn Helvey, Suzanne Hess, Carole Martin, Judah Nelson and Morris Yanger.

A reception is slated from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, at the gallery.

Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 1 a.m.-5 p.m.
