Collin Schedules Two Spanish Financial Aid Seminars
February 7, 2007- Collin County Community College District (Collin) has scheduled two financial aid presentations in Spanish.
"Financial Aid Seminar: The Basics of FAFSA in Spanish" will be held from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Collin Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The same presentation will be made from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Christian Center Abundant Life Church, 1009 E. Anthony St. in McKinney.
For many students, financial aid is a vital component toward earning a college degree. This seminar, presented in Spanish, will highlight the details and process of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a host of other resources to assist students in acquiring needed resources toward attending a college or university.
