SAIL Hoists Up Summer Activities, Brown Bag Series
May 21, 2007 – Senior citizens seeking something cool to do this summer shouldn't look any further than Collin College.
The college’s Seniors Active in Learning (SAIL) program has a wide slate of events planned for the summer months. Activities and classes include computer classes, book discussion group, current events, drawing classes, mah jongg, digital photography classes and more.
In addition, SAIL will host its Brown Bag Lunch Series 2007 with three presentations by Dallas Morning News columnist James Ragland Thursday, June 14; humorist and author Rosemary Rumbley Thursday, July 12; and McKinney’s Evening Stars, a dancing troupe, Thursday, August 9.
Classes and activities are free for the summer and are held at the Courtyard for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd, in Plano. Individuals are encouraged to bring friends of any age for the summer events.
