Collin College Hosts UTD Transfer Expo
July 2, 2007 – Collin College will host The University of Texas at Dallas Transfer Expo from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11. Students planning to transfer to UTD can visit with academic and enrollment advisors and learn about opportunities for transfer students.
The event will be held at the Collin College Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
UTD will waive the $50 application fee for attendees of the expo who apply for fall 2007 admission. Students can apply online at www.applytexas.org by July 5 or at the Transfer Expo on July 11.
Students will also have the opportunity to sign up for UTD’s Guaranteed Tuition Plan at the event. The plan locks UTD tuition and mandatory fees at current rates for four years, helping students better plan for the cost of higher education.
The expo is free and open to the public. Attendees considering UTD should bring transcripts from all schools attended.
