Continuing Education Hosts Computing Open House
December 29, 2006 - Collin County Community College District (Collin) will host a free open house for businesses interested in learning the benefits of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP. The open house is from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.
The open house is an informal session that provides prospective students with an overview of ERP and SAP-related course offerings and an opportunity to ask questions.
The college is offering three new courses that will focus on the non-technical side of enterprise computing: "Introduction to ERP and SAP," "SAP Functional Modules" and "SAP Implementation Management."
Students will learn how ERP systems work and how they fit into business operations. The courses will cover process improvement, investment and implementation considerations for ERP systems such as SAP.
Collin offers a variety of courses for computer applications in business. For a full list of classes, visit www.collin.edu/ce.
