Parents Invited to Learn About College at Informational Event
September 17, 2007 - Collin College is providing a venue for parents of future college students to ask the questions that they didn't know to ask.
Destination College is hosting a Parent's Panel Dessert and Coffee from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, at THE ARTS gallery located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The event is free and open to any parent interested in learning about college. RSVP by Oct. 1 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event will feature an informal panel of college and community representatives who currently have students enrolled in college. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about how to prepare themselves and their student(s) for higher education.
