New Position Ensures Quality Outcomes at Collin College

December 21, 2007 - Collin College recently announced the creation of a new position, associate dean of outcomes and quality enhancement.

Dr. Fenton received a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and earned her doctorate from Virginia Tech University.

Prior to joining Collin College, Dr. Fenton was the director of institutional research at Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio. In a service capacity, she has served on several boards and committees for non-profit organizations.

"My initial impression is that Collin College faculty and staff are led by able leadership and collectively they are focused on providing high quality educational opportunities to the students," Dr. Fenton said. "The president and staff act out a commitment to empower the faculty to bring out everyone's best. People are clearly important at Collin College."
