Water is the Buzzword for Gallery's Latest Exhibition
February 29, 2008 - Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.
THE ARTS gallery is going two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen for its newest exhibition, "Watermarks II Invitational" from Thursday, March 13-Saturday, April 12. A reception for the showcase is set at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, at the gallery.
This invitational show will focus on water media and will represent conventional water media techniques, as well as non-traditional techniques and other water media venues.
The invitational will include a number of artists from around the state and country including: Mary Kathryn Collins, Cathy Cotter-Smith, Marilyn Todd Daniels, Kay Goodrum, Jeff Hukill, Vicki Mayhan, Dennis Nolan, Bill Patterson, Jeremiah Patterson, Marie Renfro, Warren Taylor, Theresa Traweek and Stephen Zhang.
THE ARTS gallery hours are: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The gallery is located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
